Scouting is for family, fun, friends, and a lifetime of adventure!
It’s the place where young people can grow to become their very best future selves. Our Scouting program is designed to give kids the skills to unlock their full potential and live life outside!
When compared to the cost of sports and many other activities, there is no doubt that Cub Scouts delivers great value to its members.
The annual fees provide benefits such as BSA membership, an optional subscription to Scout’s Life magazine, a Pack 1 T-Shirt (Class B Uniform)
In addition to BSA membership fees paid at the time of a scout’s registration, Pack 1 also has annual dues to cover the costs of awards and recognition (patches, pins, etc., special events (Blue & Gold, Pinewood Derby), a Pack 1 T-Shirt (Class B Uniform). These dues directly support our programming and scouts and are established by the families in Pack 1 through the pack committee.
As you can imagine, operating costs usually run higher than the money we collect for registration. We will cover the deficit with fundraising and soliciting donations.
Special Note:
For a scout to join Pack 1, only the Scout needs to register or renew.
Adults do not need to register unless they plan to volunteer in an official capacity (e.g., as a Den Leader or on the Pack Committee).
