Organizational Overview

Pack 1 is organized in a traditional Cub Scout Pack and Den structure.

Dens

A small group of Cub Scouts in the same grade. 

Den Leaders

An adult, usually a parent, serves as a Den Leader. They carry out adventures-related activities as presented in the Cub Scout handbook and the Den Leader Guide.

Pack

The Pack consists of six dens (Lions to Arrow of Light). Its composition and size vary based on grade level interest.

Cubmaster

The leader of the pack meeting is the Cubmaster. In addition to serving as the master of ceremonies, the Cubmaster supports the Den Leaders.

Pack Committee

The pack committee, made up of parents, leaders, and other caring adults, supports den leaders and the cubmaster.  

Chartered Organization

This organization partners with the Boy Scouts of America to deliver a Scouting program. It adopts Scouting to serve the community's youth. We are chartered by Saint Mark's Episcopal Church in Altadena, CA.
